I have always had a passion for the wonders London has to offer
and would be delighted to share with you my enthusiasm and
knowledge to help make your visit memorable. I have lived and
worked in London all my adult life and will therefore be able to
explore with you some of its hidden treasures as well as its
major landmarks.

My background is in HR with a variety of organisations which means that I have a
really good understanding of people. Since qualifying as a London Blue Badge Guide
I spend much of my time guiding visitors - an occupation I love! - around not only
London but also many of the popular out of London sites. I can adapt my tours to
suit your needs as a family, a group or individually.

I fully appreciate the interests of children and teenagers, my two sons giving me
first hand experience! Having also worked in management for many years I can
pitch my tours to fit the requirements of your corporate event.

I would be delighted to show you around London, the city I know
and love. My training as a London Guide means I am able to
take you around all of the main sites - but also introduce you to
some lesser known gems too. I can also cover day trips from
London - to Canterbury, Bath, Oxford, Stratford, Salisbury and
Stonehenge.

I am happy to work with small or large groups - and as a mother of
four (now grown up) children, I think I can safely say families are a speciality! With a
little notice, I'd be delighted to tailor a tour (or even maybe a treasure hunt) to suit you
and your group. London is not only magnificent - it can be a lot of fun too.

I became a tour guide because I love London and I am keen to
share this enthusiasm with you. Whether you are looking for a
day or half-day tour, I can plan around your tastes and interests.
You might enjoy a tour of some of the most famous sites in the
world and combine this with a little shopping. The treasures of
our best galleries and museums may be more your taste or, if
you are a family, something the children will enjoy is essential.

Sites that I have a particular interest in include: Tower of London; National Gallery;
St.Paul's Cathedral; Jane Austen tours; Regent's Park and family days out. But most
of all, a great day designed individually for you - it's your interests that count.

Thirty years as an actor and writer in theatre, radio, film and
television. As well as a Blue Badge, I am a qualified and
experienced City of London and Clerkenwell and Islington Guide. An
in depth knowledge of London sites, with a special interest in
walking tours, the performing arts - past and present - and all aspects
of the capital from the Romans to Boris Johnson.

Beyond the M25, a particular fondness for Stratford on Avon and the great cathedral
cities, with a lively and enthusiastic love of the countryside based on several years
writing 'The Archers'. I know how off-putting a know-all guide can be and guarantee
to make any tour entertaining and palatable with anecdotes, stories and perhaps even
the occasional joke.

Brought up in London, I have always been fascinated by the history
and literature of our extraordinary city, and it would be a pleasure to
guide you around it. I am a qualified London guide with several
years of guiding experience offering walking tours and site specific
visits for groups of all kinds, from tourists to students to corporate
organisations, and can tailor my tours to fit your particular requirements.

I also work as an actor in the theatre, on television and on radio. Highlights include work
for the National Theatre, singing at the Royal Opera House, many recordings for BBC
Radio and playing Mary Queen of Scots for BBC Television History (before she got her
head chopped off!).

Special interests include the history of the City of London and also its theatrical,
musical and literary aspects.
